For Monday, March 2nd, 2009
Outside My Window. . . partly sunny, about 58 degrees. A really nice day!
I am thinking... about the jury duty summons that I got. I am supposed to report on Tuesday. I hope it doesn't mess up too many plans if I have to serve on a jury.
I am thankful for... points on our credit card that got us two free hotel nights for spring break.
From the kitchen. . . Chili & Cornbread for dinner tonight. I also have a big pile of over-ripe bananas that need to be turned into muffins.
I am wearing... clothes (ha, ha, aren't I the comedian?)
I am creating... nothing right now. After all the 'making of stuff' for Lent, I am not working on anything right now.
I am going... to go put the now clean sheets back on the kid's beds.
I am reading... Mystic Sweet Communion by Jane Kirkpatrick
I am hoping... for no jury duty.
I am hearing... not much . . . everyone is outside; the house is quiet.
Around the house . . . I am awaiting an order from JCPenney for some wall art that I bought. We have lived in this house 12 years and I have had the same ugly outdated pictures hanging above the couch in our family room. So I am eager to have something new and updated.
From the schoolroom . . . . We are somewhere in the midst of Week 22 – 25 (depending on the subject).
One of my favorite things . . . .
the smell of coffee when the container is first opened.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:
- Jury Duty
- Speech Therapy for Lil Guhl
- Little Flowers
- PE Class
Here is picture thought I am sharing...

Stopped by from the Simple Woman's Daybook and enjoyed your post! I hope that if you get jury duty it's brief. Oh, and if you're looking for a new banana muffin recipe, I just tried one and it was the best I've ever made...it's the Banana Crumb Muffins recipe from allrecipes.com http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Banana-Crumb-Muffins/Detail.aspx
Have a great week!

It looks like you all had fun at Multnomah Falls! It is so pretty there!
Hopefully, if you end up having to do Jury duty, it won't be long... I've been summoned three times in the last few years, but have never had to serve due to a nursing baby.
