Outside My Window. . . rain, sun, rain, sun, and about 47 degrees.
I am thinking... about what changes might come about from the new priest that will be coming to our parish in July. Our current priest announced that he is being reassigned come July 1st. It's exciting and hard at the same time to get a new priest.
I am thankful for... Seton's downloadable lesson plans. Click, click, click and I am finished!
From the kitchen. . . a diet. I decided to go ahead and start the Curves diet plan. Exercise alone is not producing much weight loss, so I started on Saturday. So I am busy planning meals, etc. Also, I am going to try making corned beef, potatoes and cabbage in honor of St. Patrick's Day on Tuesday. I will have to work that into my diet plan!
I am wearing... the usual: black sweats, t-shirt and my fleece sweater. It's just easier sometimes for me to get dressed in this as it motivates and reminds me to go to Curves.
I am creating... a new me! Please see: 'From the kitchen.' I would like to lose about 20 pounds.
I am going... to have a very busy week this week. See below.
I am reading... Mystic Sweet Communion by Jane Kirkpatrick (still!)
I am hoping... that my diet produces a couple of pounds lost this week!
I am hearing... the TV. The kids are watching Daniel.
Around the house . . . my husband and I are contemplating/brainstorming some ways in which we could better use the space in our home office (translated: computer desk area.)
From the schoolroom . . . . we are adding more to our Lenten Faith Folders each week. Not much new to report here. It's the homeschooling blues for me lately!
One of my favorite things . . . . my little daffodils all bloomed out in front of the house. The first signs that spring is near!
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week (this is an exceptionally busy week for us! I don't know how everything happened in the same week, and I know I will regret being this busy):
Speech Therapy for Lil Guhl
Recreation Swimming
Homeschool Support Group Meeting
Young Rembrandt's Art Class
The play "Goodnight Moon"
Dentist appointments
- PE Class
- a field trip to an Art Studio with the homeschool group
- my brother's 40th birthday party!
- To the beach on Sunday!
Here is picture thought I am sharing...
We have a new student this week. His name is Livingston.
