Simple Woman's Daybook - April 27th Edition

Outside my window... a gray, cool day with a brief shower or two.

I am thinking... a lot about my my oldest daughter lately.

From the school room ... into 4th quarter. Eager to finish the year.

I am thankful for... the little pile of cash I have from selling some unused school books this week!

From the kitchen... hmmm, this is a hard one lately. I have been very uninspired when it comes to meal-planning and cooking. My husband and I have been enjoying our morning english muffins with egg, cheese and tomato on top, however.

I am wearing... my robe and pajamas.

I am reading... nothing right now. I have a book sitting on my end table, but am not currently reading it!

I am hoping... that the weather warms up again soon.

I am creating... nothing except for a state history notebook for Boy-son.

Around the house... husband finished the fence on the side of the house (it looks great!), and I got all my flowers planted out front. I moved my park bench to a new, better location out front, and rearranged the flower pots on the front patio, and I am just loving the changes. It's amazing how even small changes can make such a difference.

One of my favorite things... sitting on my patio swing in the morning drinking my coffee.

A few plans for the rest of the week... workout at Curves, softball game for Lil Guhl, my first meeting with the new management committee for Little Flowers, the Little Flowers Mother-Daughter social and then off to the conference!

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...

This is the BEFORE photo (well almost; my husband had the gate posts up) of the side of the house where we had no fence. I will post a picture of the finished fence tomorrow, hopefully. Hubby has it covered with a tarp right now as the stain is still wet, and it is rainy outside.

Sitting on the patio swing sounds so peaceful. Wish I could join you.

Why is meal-planning so hard??? It is my least favorite chore. Great daybook!
