On Monday morning, this man showed up and began working on grinding out the stump from the big tree we had removed. This machine was really quite amazing. He controlled it the entire time with a remote control that hung on a strap from his neck. He told my husband that the machine can compress down to fit through a three foot opening.
It took him a few hours to grind out the very huge stump. Now we have quite a large hump of dirt that will need to be moved or hauled away before this project is complete. We also took out a portion of the divider fence between us and the neighbors, and I just can't believe how much better it all looks. I will be glad when it is all done.
