Back in December, I applied for a part-time job opportunity as a Volunteer Coordinator at our local library. It was only to be 10 hours per week, and a decent hourly wage, which seemed just right. I don't NEED to work, but thought that having that extra money and extra intellectual stimulation would be nice.
Anyways, as I posted in my January 19th Daybook, I was hopeful that I would get an interview in the very least, but the letter came today that said that I was not "selected to continue on with the selection process." Needless to say, I am not broken-hearted, but a little disappointed to have not even been chosen for an interview.
Well, I guess it's not meant to be.
