Today was Lil Guhl's first softball game. On her first time at bat, she got a great hit! However, it sailed straight into the glove of the first baseman, and she was out. She was very bummed and said she didn't like "outs."
However, on her next turn on the field, she got to play first base. The batter hit the ball, the pitcher caught the ball on a bounce and threw it to Lil Guhl, who caught it on a bounce, and made it to the base before the runner did. Now she likes "outs!" I wish we had gotten a picture.
